I use to be the same way with lots of bloating around that time, now if I dont watch my diet somewhat those lbs stay! D a m n it! I dont know why this happens either I wish I could tell you, When I changed my diet to organic it stopped and I started to lose the weight and not gain it back. Then something happened to me and I dont go anywhere anymore. I sit home on this computer because of what happened. I dont leave my house unless I have to. So now I am back to gaining.

Yes, some of us gain more than others during menstruation. I gain about 7 during. It depends from month to month. I know it is weird, but it happens.

It may be anemia; I would definately get your thyroid checked too!
Sometimes weight fluctuation during your period is normal if you flow heavy. Anything "unusuall" should be taken seriously. Please see your doctor and he could give you the best advice possible, he has all your info on record. And remember, take your vitamins! :)

Weight gain is fluid, don't worry as long as wt drops back down.
