We seem to have at least 2 or 3 movies a year with comic book superheroes in recent years.
But what character would you like to see up on the big screen that hasn't appeared yet?
Doesn't have to be a superhero; any comic book character would do!

For those of you who want to see a Wonder Woman movie, one IS in the works. Joss Whedon (of "Buffy" and "Firefly" fame) is set to direct. I believe a 2008 release date is targeted.
And for the guy who suggested Superman....uh, it's been done, like many times over!!! Nothing wrong with Superman, but this question deals with characters who have NEVER before appeared on the big screen.

Deadman would make an AWESOME flick...
with today's technology, Green Latern and the Flash could make for some pretty cool movies as well.
Yes, actually I think Calvin & Hobbes could be fun, especially when you think of what David & Teddy did in "A.I."
I also have read GROO for years but, I just don't know if it would be a movie that would end up any better than "George of the Jungle" did a decade ago. Yes, Brendan Frasure probably would play Groo.

Personally, I'd LOVE to see "Strangers In Paradise" as a film. I first read it in college, instantly fell in love with the storytelling and artwork. Besides, I'd love to play Francie! :)
And yes, I'm looking forward to a Wonder Woman movie. So long as there's someone who actually LOOKS the part. I love Firefly and Serenity, and I'm hoping that Whedon casts this movie well.

I'd like to see Miracleman on the silver screen, because his stories showed the way the government would actually try to control a super hero, and the way he would have to fight back against being manipulated and eventually have to take over. It also shows how awful a fight between superheroes would actually be [Johnny (Kid Miracleman) Bates devastates London and Miracleman can't stop him, except by killing him after the fact so that it never happens again.]

This isn't a comic book character, more like a manga character but I'd love to see Vegeta in a film.

Deadpool. If Wade Wilson were to get his shot at stardom, he'd have the kids all across America getting in touch with thier inner dialogue!
