Last night, I as sleaping and I had a dream. Except that i KNEW i was sleeping in my dream so I didn't care what i did, cause I knew that nothing would harm me (cause I knew I was asleep, even though i was asleep...very strange). So in my dream I was flying super high (i always dream i can fly), and then i willingly let myself fall, cause i knew that when i hit the ground, nothing will happen. well, i did hit the round, but when i did, not even that woke me up. I continued on dreaming.

is that strange? ever happen to u?

I like those kinds of dreams where you know your dreaming and can change into or become anything and even fly.I hate the flying ones because I always end up falling at a high rate of speed.I have never allowed myself to hit the ground in my dreams. The worst lucid dream I had was when someone was attacking me in the dream from behind and I wake up to find this hand just above my face.I screamed very loud and grabbed the hand and twisted it around. That was when I realized it was my own stupid hand that had fallen asleep and I could no longer feel it.I couldn't believe how scared I was but my husband just laughed his butt off.

Happens to me all the time. Most dreams hold deep symbolic meaning. Even the most retarded dreams can have a good meaning. What you expierenced was a lucid dream, which simply means you are aware that you are dreaming. To dream that you are flying means you may have possible risen above a certain situation and no have complete control over it. It has to do with your power, or maybe it means you've broken free from something, or at a high point in your life.

I've had dreams before where bad things would happen and my conscience would tell me that it was just a dream, and to, quite literally, get a grip; and then the surroundings would change, and then it would repeat itself in different scenerios. It is weird - especially when you are talking to yourself in your dream.

It's called lucid dreaming. It's when you're aware that you are dreaming and you can control your dreams. I think there's a way to make yourself lucid dream all the time, but I'm not sure how.

is it strange? to me it is! i have nightmares where i am up high and nothing to hang on to, and i wake up in a sweat.
i used to climb ladders 60 ft high but i never liked when i had to be up on a flat roof high with nothing to hold onto, like a gust of wind could blow me off.
i have controlled my dreans tho, and i never thought it was ok to "go with the flow" and just let myself hit the ground.
what the heck happened next???
were you hurt???
or did you just change to a new dream?
like changing tv channels??

Your lucky to still be alive. I allways awake before hitting the ground.
