in reality, the U. S. speaks American, no longer strictly English. the unique saxon language had in worry-free words some hundred words, maximum of which rhymed with ugh. each and every tine we ran for the period of something for which we had no note, we merely stole even if some different person change into calling it; so words like moccasin, pizza, etc were all of unexpected portion of our language too. It stands to reason that some sounds will overlap from one language to a unique, having diverse meanings depending on the language we took it from. So...... we've quite some words that sound or maybe are spelled a similar, yet have diverse meanings, counting on how we are picking to apply them. This quirks are one reason English is between the toughest languages interior the international to entice close. i'm guessing the action picture stated the device used to scale back human beings up. Or no longer!

Oh My GOD

Let me introduce you to something called a dictionary. It's a book with words... and meanings... and you can look up a word and see that a lot of words have many different meanings. In this book, you can find examples for yourself. What a concept.

P.S. They even have this dictionary thing online. For free.
