Have you tried different venues to meet people. Alot of people discredit the Internet because of all the bad things they hear that happen on it. There is also speed dating which can be found & done in any metro town on a weekly and sometimes daily basis. I belive if you limit yourself when it comes to meeting new people, no matter if it is for a relationship or just friends. You can miss out on alot. Also, don't just look in a guy as something that you want. Also see if you could be good for him. Relationships are all about comprimse. So it is just hard to find someone that is going to be EVERYTHING you want. I am not saying take the next man that crosses you path. I am just saying to not limit your options, look to see if you could be good for someone as well & do not look too hard. Sometimes when you are not looking for something, it ends up finding you...

I really think it's better not to look too hard. But if you look try looking in new places. Is there a college class you always wanted to take? Have you tried church, getting involved in sport activities - like mountain biking, kayaking, skiing and joining a club, book or theater clubs? Maybe you are being too restrictive about age or looks. Think about what kind of man do you want and where would a man like that hang out?
Sometimes it is best not to look at all and get involved in what you are interested in - take care of yourself by going to gym and eating good. Take your time of being single as a time to get in touch with what you really want out of life. And if you haven't read it already - read the best dating advise book for women "why men love bitches". It's funny and it will show you how to deal with all the things men do that drive us crazy. Good luck - hope you find mr. right.

Take a deep breath and ask yourself the question. What do I keep going back to? You may find that you have a pattern of being attracted to a certain kind of man. Maybe you are drawn to men who remind you of one of your parents. Or men that are like your ex-spouse. If you have a developed a pattern that no longer is what you want, then once you recognize it, you can begin to "re-wire" your intentions and goals in finding a partner and you will seek out a different kind of man. Our live's lessons are learned through our relationships and the people we draw into our lives. Maybe you are have learned what you need to from your previous connections. But the new connections you make will be unfamiliar and therefore, it will take courage to move forward. Best of luck to you in your search to be with men that will bring you joy, happiness and fulfillment and to whom you will reciprocate those feelings.

Stop looking so hard and just enjoy your life. Maybe take a break from dating to clear your head. Develop some other interests and you'll be happier and more complete as a person. After a while, evaluate your situation and assess the male friends and other relatinoships that are around you to see if there's any potential.

Have you tried dating women? Maybe that's what you're looking for. If not try picking up men at the laundromat if your looking for a clean guy or the grocery store if your looking for a good cook or the bowling ally if your looking for ( oh wait, forget that one). Anyway, just look around there all types of folks out there and I'm sure there's one for you. Vary what you normally do so you can meet new people and establish an extended circle of friends and acquaintances. Good luck :)

So you haven't found that one person that you want to be with. You can never really predict when that will happen. Maybe take a break from dating for a while. Re-evaluate what you're looking for. Perhaps approaching dating differently may also help. Good luck!

If your not happy why do present yourself as just one piece of the cherry pie.

I don't mean to be rude but until you know what you want your going to drift you need to stay focused on your goals not bad decisions. You also need to raise the level of your expectations. if you fish in the gutter all you will get is the trash.

My point is don't present yourself as one of many desserts for a man to choose from on a table.

Be the only setting at the table with only one chair

Signed Tim

I think that to be happy in the search we must be happy in ourselves. Only after we understand and are happy with who we are can we find the one we really want to go into the future with. Time spent in self examination may be well worth the effort. Pick then a man who is compatible with that lifestyle.

Good Luck and God Bless!!

Well, what is it that you want? People change as do their needs and desires. Perhaps you need to step out of your comfort zone and approach a different sort of guy.

Oddly enough, I have had many older women tell me that I am the type they should have married. I'm never sure what to make of that.
