my husband and i have been trying for about a year now and i've noticed that my period is becoming less and less from month to month since July of this year. I'm traveling a lot and it's hard to time it. What should we do? what should we look for in knowing if we are pregnant?

Quit trying to time something as wonderful as conception. That's just more of that old wives tail bipolar hormone crap you need to get under control. If you really want to get pregnant stop traveling, HELLO.

On a serious tip. Try reducing some of the stress and tension in your relationship and lives. Stress plays a huge part in your health and reproductive process. Stop dieting, eat some real food, you and your husband. This is something you may want to research and invest in instead of a time clock rabbit test. Enjoy each other for a while and make love to please each other instead of putting some change in and trying to get a soda out of a vending machine. However, if you are so blinded by your hormones every time you drink coffee that you have to have a child this afternoon, then I would suggest artificial insemination with your husband as the donor. The medical team can discern the viable well suitable sample to assist with the conception. I prefer this to fertility medication due to the possible side effects.
Sperm and hormones are made from bi products of what we eat mainly cholesterol, protein, and glucose. So lay off the 2% milk, soy bacon, and artificial sweeteners. Hell a couple of extra pounds may make you look a little sexier to your husband than to your girlfriends and help your chances out a little bit.

11 to 14 days after the first day of your last period is the best time tooooo conceive. You might also try thoughs ovulation test they sell at any drug store. they would be with the pre. test. As long as he does his thing up inside you any postion is good so have some fun with it while your at it. Stressing out about it won't help either, so relax and have fun, it will happen sooner or later. Your doctors advice is alwys a good thing to have too. Most OBGYN's do family planing too.

deep penetration (man on top, for example) is best 24 hours before you think you will ovulate and 24 hours after you think you ovulated. Take an Ovulation Predictor Kit, and that will tell you if you are ovulating, and you will know to have sex that day. Also, try to track your bbt (www.fertilityfriend.com), and that will help you time it as well. If you are traveling, then it may take you longer, as you may miss your window, but there is nothing you can do about that unless you can stop traveling.

when i took a psychology class and learned about reproduction one of the other students said she was having problems conceiving for like 2 years then she heard the method of keeping your legs up high for at least 20 minutes after he ejaculates. some other position is doggy style, i tried for 6 months and we tried that and i conceived, my baby is due in 9 days! :) hope it helps!
