get me som simple way to change my views on anythinkin...

Realize that your probably thinking about yourself and not others. Then try and focus on helping people instead of criticizing them.

Ok, so a lot of these answers are not helpful and that they just say "think positive" and I know that doesn't help. I have an idea that might work: Wear a rubber band around your writst, or even a hairtye (if you have long hair, are a girl, etc...), every time a negative thought comes into your mind, give the rubber band a little snap, not a hard one, this is not to hurt yourself, it's just to remind you that what you are thinking is negative, and that you should stop thinking like that and look at the different ways you could possibily think instead. Also, for example, if you say "hi" to someone in the hallway, and they don't acknowledge it, don't jus think it's because they dont like you, realize that they have a life too, realize that maybe they were thinking about something else, or that they didn't hear you. i don't know what a pessimist is but thinking negetive is not that bad. Aprreciate hwat life has offered you and look around for the littlest or the biggest beauty u can find. but do try to look inside u..there might yet be something that u haven't figured or find out yet...there could a happiness in you that u don't know yet..well all i'm tryignto say is..yup..be glad for what u have..
[(most of the time thinking -ve or bad way makes ppl beware of all 360 view of the situation.....only thinking positive doesn't make all the possibilities clear.)<--my friend]
.u live once only..and try to concentrate on what u are studying on what your interests are or your hobbies. you can also start thinkign about your future..it helps...^ . ~

siberdice, it's already put into your subconscious, the dispeling of the "thought" pattern. It has to be a CONSCIOUS ACTION. Meditate on the beauty of your SELF. 'Thoughts in mind produce in kind' 'Like attracts like....' Start with simple, no preconcieved thoughts. Practice breathing (Don't THINK GiGi, JUST BREATH) Light. Surround yourself in Brilliant Light, and let your old way of thinking dissolve. It takes alot of energy. It's a battle of the mind. And everyday,we confront all this negative energy. Release it to the Universal Power of Good. Peace and love, buddy. You do have the power to manifest. Whatever you choose, will become.

well i use to be like that but if you are smart, you would think positive to everything that is negative if a person tells you that the sky is red, you know that the is not true and that is been negative. And if a person is mean and negative is good to be smiling and answer to then the nice way, and you will see the different.

Try this:

Sit down, relax, close your eyes, and then ask yourself this question:

What would happen if I were to be at peace within myself?

Do not allow any BS from your MIND. What you want is an honest answer... and if you get it, you will have to grieve very deeply and allow some heavy sobbing cause the answer will hurt like... it will hurt a lot. But, if you can do this, you will automatically be done with all the negativity.

Why do you want to change? You're okay! The world needs pessimists to keep a balance between all those "everything is rosy" people. Being a pessimist is safer, too because you are less apt to "dive right into" a scam. Us pessimists are superior in our thinking!

well, if u r always trying to but do not succeed, i think u should resort to something more serious and complicated. this may be an extreme but i should say that the best thing is the 'catharsis' or something like purging of the soul. well, this does not only removes some negative aspects of a person, but also, i believe, renews a person.

negative things that have happened to you have caused you to believe negative things about yourself.
to change this look into the mirror and find something you like....if you do not find anything you like then look around you and see how many friends you have...ask your closest friend ( I mean the one you FEEL closest to) and ask them to name ONE thing that is positive about you. build on that.

every day when you wake up think I am worth liking and believe that.
counselling will help you figure out why your so negative.

it must start with your thinking itself.

you can't stop thinking negative by just saying you don't wanna think negative.
begin to think positive.
you must be able to see a ray of light.
start being appreciative of what you are, what you have, of other people. and you should not overlook the positive aspect of a negative situation.
there must be one there.
the change may take a lot of time.
but you have to keep on working for it.
go around with people who are positive.
it's contagious.

you must feel good about yourself!

it's a bit difficult. but mostly when ever you have negative thoughts think of positive ones, like a positive outcome or what can you do to change the negative outcome of something.
