honestly?
because a lot of the time, "i don't know" is a lame copout answer..all depending on the context.
maybe women look up to men..maybe some women believe men are more wise. men definitely have had more experience in the big picture.
could be, woman are just annoying. i think you would be the best person to answer this question, because you are the only one who knows the situation behind what made you ask.

Because they are attempting to help you communicate better. "I don't know" is often a statement made by someone who doesn't know how to express themselves.
If you really do know, or are simply avoiding thinking of an answer, admit that instead of repeating "I don't know" like a dolt.
That will stop a woman (or child, or man) from repeating the question in different ways.

Sometimes people say "I don't know" when they really mean " I don't want to answer that". And maybe this woman is so insecure she thinks that if she keeps asking you'll tell her the truth.

Women are different than men and they think by talking about it you may be able to come up with the answer.

Because they think you really do know and you're holding out, haha. It depends on the question. Is the question, "Why are you fooling around on me?"

Hey!! guys can do that too sometimes. but ya i know it gets so annoying!! my cousin used to ask me all these french stuff.. my french sux and when i say.. i dont know.. she keeps on asking! its like it will magically be formed in my head or something.
but i dont know why some people do that.

Maybe because she thinks you really do know, you're just not taking the time to really think about it...and it may make her think you're not listening. If you really, really, really, don't know, then tell her you'll get back to her on it when you do know.
