My question is the first time we tried was 2 days before ovulation occured this week. Is it possible to still get preagnant 2 days before ovulation?

u need to do it around 2 -3 times a week it will help get ur results . Sperm live for about 72hrs and if u do it atlease 2-3 times a week then u have a biger chance. Good luck

Yes it's possible to get Preg if you have sex 2 days before ovulation. Actually it's really great timing b/c 1. Sperm can live for 3-5 days and 2. You should have sex every other day when you're ovulating. The reason is b/c you need to give your guy's sperm time to 'rejuvenate' themselves. If you have sex everyday the sperm won't be strong enough to make the trip. :) Also you won't be getting a great batch each time so the chances of a so so batch actually implanting isn't very good. So they recommend every other day starting 2 days before ovulation for best results. *Good Luck*

It is possible at any point in ovulation and in between to get pregnant. NOw sometimes may not have as good a chance as others but its possible!!

Yes, sperm live for 3-5 days. Of course you have a higher chance the same day....because more and more sperm die each day, but it is still possible :)

YES...sperm will live up to 5 days in fertile quality fluilds....the sperm will not live longer that a couple of hours in your not in your fertile time
