since me and my best friend don't have any class together this year(9th grade), we write notes to each other in a little notebook. we talk about very personnal stuff + we sometimes use bad words. now the problem is... her parents read it! they read the entire notebook in front of her and asked thousands of questions. it must have been really embarrassing. We are allowed to stay friends. but for now, they don't want her to come to my house anymore. i feel really bad. since it happened, we haven't talked to each other. i really don't want to lose her. we were best friends!
she also lied to me about something. she said she had a boyfriend who was 17+lived in florida. of course she made him up. all that happened the same day. what can we do? i wan't to stay close friends, even if she lied and her parents don't like me anymore... i hope you read all that carefully and that you'll be able to help me. thanks.

I wouldn't let you hang around with my kid, either. It sounds like your priorities are pretty messed up.

I feel really sorry for you. Parents who read private stuff is beyond me.

She can't be unhappy with you, you did nothing wrong. Make the effort to talk to her about this and see if you can get back to where you were before the notebook.

Find out why she lied about the boyfriend. Maybe she was feeling a bit inadequate with the stuff you were writing.

The parents will eventually get over it and if they don't honesty there is something wrong with them. I am 25 and a new parent myself and thats what kids do they swear lie and make up stuff. If she is mad at you for her getting in trouble and you guys arent friends anymore over it then she is not a bestfriend anyway. Don't worry too much about it, remember your only in 9th grade eventually you will have more serious issues to deal with!

everyone makes mistakes now and then. it sounds like you and her are really close and you should forgive her stupid mistake. as for the parents, they'll eventually realize that you are teenagers and they will remember those days. even if they still are strict about you two being friends dont let it keep you apart.

honestly i don't know wat to say abot this situation but one thing is dat the ball is in ur court, but depends on how u play it.
if ur feelings for her is genuine with no harm, fine u can still be friends if she feels the same way for u
