Target. I can't believe how many people are saying Walmart.
Target is not French and it does support veterans' groups. See

Walmart has so many shady business practices, it is too much for me to even get into. It is not an entirely evil enterprise, but it is not a responsibly run corporation in any sense of civic responsibility or employee treatment.
Plus, most Walmart are generally depressing. And the new Walmarts are often achieved when Walmart leaves an empty building (which they built) and make little to no effort to sell it across town.
If you have an option, there is no reason you can give to shop at Walmart.

I like the layout better at Target. There is more space in the aisles and they are cleaner. They also have some nice clothes.
Where Walmart has Target beat is price. So in my opinion it is a toss up. If I want a nice shopping experience - Target. If I want a deal - Walmart. It depends on the mood.

They maybe both own by same holding company, and two web sites other than official websites. Never was in Target, and only in Walmart once, too big and hard to find stuff, so will say neither. Like one's website. This holding company did not like competition Ames gave so they put it out of business, so have big time dislike for Target.

Depends on the Wal*Mart but I'll say Target I've got better prices from Target then some Wal*Marts.

I prefer Target's stores, they are usually clean and less crowded. I like Walmarts prices better than Target's, but if I can affordit I shop at Target.

Target!!!! They have more name brand items at the prices you will find at walmart if you by their generic brand. Also walmart cares more about making money then their own employees!!! I know, I have worked there and alot of my friends have too. So we boycott them alot where I live...
