Nothing low cut, since its a family affair! But don't wear a turtleneck, either. Wear a cute top with a neckline even with your arm pit or higher. Jeans or khaki pants/capris/knee length skirt. Kitten heels, sandals, or flats.

You should wear a long dress-looking like top, with dark wash jeans, high heeled boots and a cute matching purse, then wear your hair with the bangs parted and tied back in the back of your head. Go heavy on the lashes, light on the gloss and red blush and you'll be all set.

Hi. I think that your family will just be pleased to see you, but not so pleased to see you that you don't need to wear anything! Of course, your apparel can be used to communicate something of meaning if you wish, like if you want to declare a political, religious or sexual attitude. But I reckon you're going to be 'normal' tonight.

Something that you feel comfortable and yet attractive in, esp. if your family dynamic can be difficult...it's a lot easier to behave well when you've got your best clothes on and know you look like a million.

Long black dress. Lots of mascara and eyeliner. Black lipstick. hair covering one eye. Dark blue streaks in your hair. Or you could just wear a plain top with a band name on it and some jeans.
