Socks man, socks. Pants first means you run the rusk of pushing the socks down when you pull the legs back down.

Socks first then pants. If you put the pants on first then you have to roll up the pants to put on the socks. It just doesn't make sense.

I assume you meant "pants ON first" not "pants IN first."
Socks, of course. I prefer longer socks, coming up to at least mid calf and pulling the leg of my pants that high is almost impossible and at the least, uncomfortable.

The socks have to go on first because the pant legs are tapered and too tight to pull up to put socks on.

it suppose to be socks first but if you have to walk across the room and get your socks dirty then pants first, but if you going to wear slippers then, it's definitely socks first then pants. It's so much of a bother if you have to pull up the legs of your pants just to put on your socks and it will wrinkle you pants if its newly ironed

Socks first, it's easier that way because you don't have te keep the pant legs out of the way. That's why socks are considered "under clothes".

Always my pants. They are easier to find. Then the socks. Sometimes only one on for several minutes while I am scouting about on my hands and knees or opening drawers, riffling through clothes trying to find it's mate.

Socks tend to stick to some materials, pants legs are long, so..the inevitable...ALWAYS...pants first, socks last.
