On March 17, 2005, Kim was found guilty of conspiracy and perjury for lying to a grand jury about her friends' involvement in a 2001 shooting outside the Hot 97 studios in Manhattan — involving the entourage of rap duo Capone-N-Noreaga and her reported fellow Brooklynite rival Foxy Brown. She claimed not to have known that her manager (Damion Butler), and another friend (Suif “Gutta” Jackson) were at the scene, despite video footage showing all three exiting the building.
Both men have pleaded guilty to gun charges since. In July 2005, she was sentenced to have to serve one-year-and-a-day in the Philadelphia Detention Center.

She was staying hood and protecting her people when I cant even remeber the guys name, he sang a hook on her first cd, ratted her out. No one get 10 months for prejury, except when law enforcement wants to make an example of someone.

No, she has 5 or 6 days to circulate. appropriate now, there's a tutor on T.V., on the channel stated as B.E.T. (Black leisure television) that's stated as, "Lil' Kim - Countdown to fasten Up". It movies the previous couple of days of her life till she gets locked up in detention center. i won't be in a position to attend to commence staring at it!

yes she was. she lied to the jury and they found out and found her guilty for it. she was sentenced for a year and 1 day but she spent the last month under house arrest at her home, the rest was in jail.

She was inprisoned for perjury(lying).She was supposed to be in for one year and a day,instead she got out in 9 months.

yes she was & she was in there because she told a lie in coury while under oath and investigators found out, she wasnt the only one who lied but they made an example out of her
