the 14th day is the most common, but it all depends on how long your cycle is and when you ovulate. If your not sure when you are ovulating, go out and buy a test. Its very easy, it looks exactly like a pregnancy test. You pee on the stick and it tells you if your are ovulating. The only time you can get pregnant is when and ovulated egg gets released.

www.babyzone.com will track you cycle and and help you plan when you might be most likely to get pregnant too.

Hearing so many things can be very confusing! You can possibly get pregnant at any time during your cycle, it all depends on when you ovulate. So this means if you are trying to avoid pregnancy, then I advise using birth control! The typical woman ovulates around the 14th day of her cycle, this is not true for everyone though. An ovulation test WILL NOT tell you when you are ovulating, it just tells you that you are having an LH surge which means you may ovulate sometime in the next few days, keep in mind though that sperm can live inside of you for up to 5 days...this leaves a pretty wide window of opportunity to get pregnant.

the 14th day of her cycle is what it is...but not for all women. What you do is pay attention to how many days are between the first day of your last period, and the first day of your current (many women are on a 28 day cycle) then you half it. So 14 days after the first day of your last period, you ovulate (which is prime time to get pregnant). There are other factors as well, like how long sperm live (3-5 days) so if you're using this as birth control, you have to count 5 days before the 14th day, and 5 days after the 14th day....in other words, there are 10 days out of 28 where you could possibly become pregnant....6 are more likely.

Confusing, but that's how it works!

12 days after the start of your period you ovulate (if you have a regular cycle).
