If you have an infection, you really need an antibiotic to cure it. There are some over the counter meds for relieving some of the symptoms of UTI, look at the pharmacy. To maintain the health of your urinary tract, you can drink cranberry juice. But that is a maintenance thing, not a cure for an infection. Go to the Dr.

A lot of people say cranberry juice.
The best results from cranberry or cranberry/blueberry juice should be from natural unsweetened juice available some health food store and Trader Joes if in your area.
Drink good water like bottled and let it flush the kidneys.
A kidney infection is a bladder infection that gets into the kidneys.
Antibiotics may be in order so see the doctor if you can.
Cut back on the salt in your food and don't eat sugar.
Best wishes

Cranberry juice (the kind with as little sugar as possible) and lots of water.
There are some over the counter homeopathic treatments you can find at health food stores that can help allot. I believe there are also some cranberry pills you can find at health food stores if you don't like the taste of the juice or if you cannot find any without tons of sugar.
Sugar is something that needs to be avoided while treating a UTI.
If the cranberry treatment doesnt work, see your Dr for antibiotics. Remember to eat yogurt with life culture or take acidopholus to help your body replenish the GOOD bacteria that antibiotics will kill off. Antibiotics kill both the good and the bad bacteria.
Good luck and Goddess Bless!

Try grapefruit juice. I read recently that research shows it works better than cranberry juice. I do know that you need real cranberry juice and not just a cranberry drink. I've had people tell me that eating fresh cranberries works well.
You can also try a tea made from corn silk. It is very soothing.
To address the infection, try Uva Ursi, Buchu or Usnea.

Cranberry juice is good for the urinary track and kidneys any time. Ocean spray pure cranberry is probably best.

Even if you drink a lot of cranberry juice you still need prescription medicine to make it go away. They have OTC pain medication for UTI's Asparagus will clean your UT also, but you still need the prescription med's.

cranberry juice but that won't really work. You need an RX of Bactrim DS (antibiotic) and Pyridium (soothes the bladder). Also, drink lots of water.
