Okay, me and my friends Lauren and Kenji want to get together for halloween. First there is going to be a party then everyone goes trick-or-treating. We are going to the party in regular costumes, but then we are going to change into our scary costumes to frighten people. We want to scare/chase the kids who take too much from our candy bowl. We were going to leave the lights off except for a pumpkin with a candle so they see there is candy. Then we want to look like something fake so they don't know it's people. Scarecrow, I know. But we wanted to do something different. We all have fangs and black makeup. Any ideas? They can't be too expensive, we are in eighth grade and using money from babysitting, chores, etc.

Also they have to be easy to get ready in about 5-10 minutes, because I have to change from a vampiress, Lauren has to change from Miss America, and Kenji has to change from an archer. So, has to be simple.

You could dress up like psycho killers. Get some plastic/fake knives and such to chase the kiddies with. Wear old tattered clothes and maybe hockey masks or something like that. You might check out your local thrift store/Goodwill stores for stuff. You'd be amazed at what you can find at those places for cheap! Good luck & Happy Halloween!!!! :)

I would think "grim reaper" costumes would be quick to change into, and pretty scary ,too. You could wear long black capes with hoods. Wear black or white gloves. There are hooded masks that are a black mesh fabric which covers your face. That way any other make up you have on would be covered, as would your hair, but you can still see where you are going.

Try a party shop or somewhere that sells a lot of costumes and look around.

It sounds like you have a great night planned.

Leave your costumes on, but do your make up very scary. Start by lightening your skin so you're a pale/greenish. Add darker green with purple highlights under your eyes, under your cheek bones, and on your lips. Get a ver porous sponge and do some unmixed green/purple/brown around your hair lines and around your eyes. Get fake blood and make head wounds too, or drip some blood out of the corners of your mouths. The dead Miss America would be very, very creepy!

If you want to change completely and be scary as hell: be mimes! Ahhh!

Another quick change idea is just to keep on the original costumes,, and then add blood .. like you have been attacked or in a carwreck... really sounds like you have it all in control.. hope it works for you.. Happy Haunting..

What you should do is sit on the porch dressed up like a scarecrow and when the kid come up to get the candy, then you scare them.
