The amber light turns to red and the crush of people comes to a halt. Taking a cursory look around I see you standing amongst this human sea. I'm dumstruck! It's unusual but I am at a lose for words. In an instant, I drop whatever I am holding. The contents of my purse come spilling out: mints, tampons, lipstick, cell phone and my house keys all lay lifeless at your feet. Instinctively, you bend to pick them up. My body begins to vibrate emiting a low humming sound only audible to you. You are a mythical swamp creature out to catch it's prey. I'd be your willing victim any day. We kneel in an effort to pick-up the spilled goods. You turn to me and dazzle me with a wink and the briefest of smiles. The light changes from red to green as you get up to go. The mass of busy people charge forward. Through my foggy and intoxicated gaze I sigh as I watch you walk away; I am happy in the knowledge that you felt me because I felt you too.

We boarded a boat that was going to take us through the swamp. When we got to the other side, it got incredibly foggy. It was almost creepy. We slowly walked up to the house. When we got there, a woman with an unusual shade of lipstick answered the door. She pointed us in the direction we needed to go. However, the closer we got, the louder the humming sound got. Suddenly, a scream burst from the other side of the door we were going to. In that moment, we ran from the house and jumped back in the boat and headed to safety.

The humming sound of the swamp buggy overwhelmed my senses as I tried to watch the aligators on a foggy morning last summer. I saw some of the usual things: birds, small mammals, and the alligaors I had come to see. I was licking my lips because I forgot my lipstick, when all of the sudden I see an aligator winking at me! I thought that was an unusual site, but nobody I ever saw believed me.

One morning I awoke, my mind rather FOGGY, as I had not slept a WINK that night. I got out of bed, feeling as if I was wading through a SWAMP on my way to the bathroom. It was UNUSUAL that I should be so tired. I opened the bathroom door, and a giant LIPSTICK monster attacked me! AAhg! I fainted, and when I woke up again, I was back in my bed, a faint HUMMING SOUND in my ears.

Foggy and desolate, I was wandering aimlessly around the swamp for hours trying to find my way out. I dunno what it was, but there was an unusual humming sound coming from a willow tree. I went to investigate, and as I did, I tripped over a root, spilling my bag open and I lost my lipstick. I didn't bother looking for it, it was useless looking through all these weeds and water. I continued to the tree and what was sitting in front of it was a toad. The toad starred at my with his big, live eyes and appeared to wink at me. I ran and ran away from the toad stumbling and tripping over stumps, roots and plants, trying to find my way out. Lost, lonely and trapped.
