get a fine bottle of single barrel bourbon whiskey...not just whiskey, not blended whiskey, or canadian, or any of that other crap...bourbon! good ones to try are knob creek, blanton's, basil hayden's and woodford reserve. the single barrels are like a finely aged wine...tasty, smooth and need nothing but a glass and some ice...yummy...

any canadian whiskey, i also mostly do shots or drink right from the bottle but my favorite mixed drink is a tall thin glass half full of ice, 3 shots of canadian whiskey, 3 shots of coke,a shot of nyquil, a merischino cherry on a cocktail toothpick, and a little drizzle of the juice from the jar of cherries. if im feeling festive i get the little toothpicks that fold out like a chinese umbrella. oh gosh i have all those things right now. well its almost noon so i guess it would be ok to have a drink or two, gee who am i kidding , gonna be ten or so.
