what comes to your mind when you hear the word gothic?

OK, I'm an old lady (over 50) so maybe my opinion doesn't count, but here goes: I think goth is folks wearing black, wearing black makeup and hair, etc. And I think it's pretty neat -looking. What's outside isn't that important. A brain inside helps. The "goths" usually are pretty smart, in my experience. And not to break your bubble kids, but it isn't new. I wore black nail polish, hair and clothes in the late 60s (as soon as I was old enough to enforce my personal choices, mom didn't like them) oh, and my iq at age 12 when I was tested was 187, for those who say goth is stupid.

Depends what the gothic is . Like,ECW diva,Ariel is pretty hot-n-stuff, then like, you have Marilyn Manson, totally EEEEWWWWWWWW, he takes the fun out of dry heaves when you 're throwing up .

I admire anyone who cares less what people think. When I think gothic, I actually see someone who is happy with their world.
