I have been scared to get intimate with my husband. After the second time, I bled some. Is this normal? Should I not get intimate again?

It is perfectly normal to have some bleeding after intercourse at this point. As my nurse midwife said "go for it!". She encouraged intercourse as long as we wanted - even suggested it to help induce labor when we were further along (don't worry, it won't make you go into labor earlier than you should - supposedly it just helps regulate contractions). The bleeding just comes from your husband bumping against your cervix, which is engorged with blood at this point [the cervix, although I guess it applies both ways;-)]. Unless you are bleeding a great deal, don't worry about it - you won't hurt the baby.

I was intimate with my husband right up until the day I had my daughter, I dont think it'll hurt the baby unless your having a high risk pregnancy! Spotting is normal! I'd also consult a Dr. just to be on the safe side!

If you are really concerned about the bleeding, talk to your doctor.

However, sex is not bad for a pregnancy. A little bleeding can happen even if you are not pregnant! Take the intimate "sesson" easy. Chose a position that doesn't allow for the deep penetration. See how it goes then go from there.

Soon, you might find yourself to the point where you can't get enough of your husband! ;) I doubt he'll complain.

Honey you need to go to the doctor.Because it's a possiblity that your husband is to large and it could be something wrong. Let the doctor be the judge on the whether or not you have sex with your husband.

Scared? Why? If your husband is not complaining then don't, but IF I suggest you satisfie the both of you and be gentle and yes it is normal to bleed, not alot though. I would not have sex the last week or so.
Happy to you and baby and dad.

I bled a little afterwards too, the doc told me it was normal though, said just not to be rough..... we don't anymore because it is uncomfortable for me. To much stuff to get around I guess.

You should ask your doctor. Be cautious! You might be putting undue stress on your relationship without it being necessary, however if it is a danger to the baby, that shouldn't stress your relationship at all. Again, talk to your doctor.

yeah, that's normal as long as it is not a LOT of blood. It comes from your cervix, which bleeds easier during pregnancy.
