1- Open my eyes, and take off the headphones, and press stop on the CD player.
2- Take a leak, take a shower.
The rest varies depending if it's a weekend or a week day. Usually I pick out my work clothes, pack up my things for the day, eat breakfast, brush my teeth and then get dressed.
There are subtle variations to this, of course! I mean, sometimes my wife and I don't get out of bed straight away in the morning...

Monday - Friday, 5am alarm goes off, I go the the bathroom then take a shower, then comb out my hair, then go eat breakfast, watch a little news on TV, then brush my teeth and take my vitamin, then get dressed and leave for work.

On the weekends I have no routine. On the weekdays I get up, take a shower. Get the kids and husband up. Make breakfast and lunches. Get kids off to school and husband off to work, then get myself off to work.

and run for the bus since i am always late!
