An F1 car.

a Hayabusa & ZX14 can pretty much beat every 'production' car off the line. An F1 will kill either one in the top end which really sux for us motorcycle guys. Hell, a lot of your $50,000+ cars will beat either bike in the top end. I just love pulling up next to Vettes & Vipers with my $8000 gixxer and taking them light to light. The only thing that sux is once either car gets to around 140mph+ I'm done.

If you're talking power to weight to cost, get a litre bike. They'll corner better than your Lambs and Ferraris. To get back to your question, there are a few cars that will beat a Hayabusa in a straight line, but it's cheaper to buy a condo

Actually the 1000 liter bikes stock could beat a stock hayabusa. As long as you have a good rider, it could happen. But for cars, the only way they could win would be in top end. The hayabusa would top out while the car would slowly play catch up. The only cars that could do that would be like enzo's, carrera gt's and all those other cars where you pay like 500,000 bucks.

Depends on what you mean by "beat".

Nothing sold from a factory can out accelerate a Hayabusa. Some modified "tuner cars" like a Ruf Porsche Turbo can come very close.

Top of the line Porsches, Ferraris, and Lamborghinis have higher top speeds due to aerodynamics. And they'll beat it on any standard road course with fast turns, because with big tires they can corner faster. On a tight course with a lot of really slow turns the superior acceleration of the Hayabusa would help it out.

Ariel Atom. 0-60 in 2.6 seconds. Beat a Carrera GT around Top Gear's test track. Beat a 600RR around the same track with ease. I would say it would smoke a Busa around most any track with the superior handling, having four tires of course. In stock form, assuming the Atom was running the supercharged k20a, which is a factory option, and assuming the Busa was stock as well, I don't think the Busa would be much competition. If we're talking extremely modified here, like this 700hp Busa, I'll take a turbocharged four-rotor in an Ariel Atom, which would be putting down well over 1000hp, and have four tires, but it would make more sense here to talk stock vs. stock. And, you're well under 100k for a race preped Atom.

It really depends on the road or race!
I owned a 2004 Busa, took it 2 a drag strip & beat everything except drag bikes, took it down a country road & had a real hard time keeping up with the new 1000cc race'reps (good fun trying).
& here comes the BUT.... A well driven tuned evo 8 will out do a busa on a twisty A road.
Also, i went out 1 evening on my TL1000, i met up with my friend in his highly tuned cosworth powered caterham. That night i realised how slow that bike was, from 50-120mph i couldnt pull away from the car, it went on eBay the following day!
I know this hasnt really answered ur question, u need 2 spend about £250000 on a car 2 make it keep up with a bike.

A Bugatti Veyron might, but it does cost about the same as 100 Hayabusas!

im not sure aboat cars but i love bikes and the fueling triple cam or w twin motorcycle beat the hayabusa motorcycle by 0.3 seconds in the quarter. the sad part is that fueling died after only a few years of manufacturing the bike so the horse power king costs a fortune.

Yep, an F1 car could do it, but there isn't a street legal car within the reach of most mortals that could do so, and even then they couldn't corner as well.

On the other hand, 'Busas aren't made to race, only for top speed and aftermarket parts. The majority of people that own one are idiot squids that don't know how to ride a motorcycle anyway. So probably a beat-up Civic could corner better.

hate to burst your bubble guys but in performance bikes magazine last month there was a hayabusa fettled to the point where it was developing over 700b.h.p - an F1 car generally only creates 800bhp and weighs loads more

Well I have a personal interest in this ....I have a 2003 busa and I have never been "beat"...by bike or car.....The busa is a drag bike not a race bike...there is a difference...on a side note...kaw has a busa killer coming out ...I think it is funny ...the only way they could make a faster stock bike than a busa was to damn near copy it and add 100cc ......lol...My bet on a road race is F1 or vett sledgehammer...both........not going to happen....lol...
