Why do they play counttry music and rap music in taco bell?

The music played in a restaurant is usually the preference of the workers and not the customers. In some businesses, like shopping malls, music is played to soothe or stimulate the customers depending on which product is being sold. Allegedly, subliminal messages about shoplifting are also played.

I usually go through the drive through so i have my own music i like playing.

They received too many complaints years ago playing mexican music. They said it was stereotyping. How funny hey? It's a mexican restuarant for pete's sake.
