I drink regular and decaf depending on how close to bedtime it is. I drink about 4-6 cups a day. I also drink iced tea, milk , soda and water. That's pretty much my day. No I don't have diabetes so don't bring that up. I'm just a thirsty girl!

I usually stick with 4 cups of coffee a day: 2 in the morning and 2 with dinner. However, I don't drink soda, except maybe while on trips or at parties. And I do make a lot of iced tea, and have drank my fair share of it!

Depending on the soda you're drinking, you might be all right as far as caffiene is concerned. But no more than that.

I hope that helps!

The studies keep going back and forth on this issue. I can tell you that drinking coffee does cause some depletion of your bodies calcium, so if you are drinking that much on a regular basis, you should strongly consider a calcium supplement to offset this. As long as the total of your other beverages are equal or less than you water consumption, you should be fine from most off the other associated health concerns that are associated with coffee and caffeinated beverages.

I would say that you drink too much coffee is you don't drink any in one day and find yourself nervous and uptight.

Some one the latest medical reports say that two to three cups a day of coffee, decaf or not, is good to prevent colon cancer.

But overall as a human without a medical degree I would say you drink about the average amount of fluid, including water.

How much salt is in your diet? You may be thirsty due to salt in your system that you body is trying to water down. I see that you drink a lot of caffeine. That much of it can cause irregular heart beats and nervousness along with insomnia. You could also have kidney problems that are causing you to need that much fluid. There is a physical reason why you are that thirsty. You need to see a doc to find out why.

Everybody has different tolerances to caffeine. It's an individual thing. Decaf can be worse for you than the real stuff. Chemicals used to take out the natural caffeine are not good for you. When you get "hyper", back off it!

It depends on what it does to you. Does it keep u up at night? Does it make you Jittery? Irritable? Spastic? When it does this to where it is getting on you nerve, that is to much coffee. Place the cup in the sink and back away from the pot.
