Wow, that's weird. Guess she really loved her dog. And no, I wouldn't. I don't have that kind of money to spend on that... heck, I am not even sure I"ll have enough money to bury myself..... :P

Not something I would personally do but I guess if she had the money to do it and the dog was family more power to her. Some people will go to extremes when it comes to their pets. They even have pet cemeteries now so we shouldn't be surprised that the dogs can be with the humans now too. Of course, some dogs act better than some humans so maybe it was a step up for some of the people already buried at the cemetery.

After she lost her husband she probably took comfort in her dog. People who grieve whether it be for a human being or animal have every reason to do what feels right to them! We can all call her strange and weird and crazy but, she was just doing what felt good to her. I'm sure that everyone has done something in there life when others have looked and said "oh that's weird" but, they do not know what you have been through or why you are doing it!!! When my 4 year old son was dying in the hospital we Kept saying "we're taking him home" the nurses looked at us like we were crazy, we did have hope that he would make it but, after he passed away my husband and I had him cremated and brought him home. It gave us comfort because we loved him and didn't want to leave his remains in a cemetary all alone, (We know he's not with his remains but, it gave us comfort in taking him home) Lot's of people are uncomfortable as to why we would do that and don't understand our logic in it. but you never know how someone feels unless you are in there shoes! Try not to judge her for her choice, because no one knows why she would do it but, it's done and it's given her the peace she needed and really thats all that matters!

OK so way weird but then i can't really say anything my sister paid 75 dollars to have a rat put to sleep cause she was afraid that the cancer would not be cured and he was in pain... and my sister also paid for ferret daycare and acupuncture for the thing so, kinda freaky but if they want to spend their money on pets why not. some people say they are part of the family :-)

I would not personally do something like this, but I know other people who have. It was her dog, and it is her money; so it really isn't any one else's concern. Have a good day.

no as some older people see thier pets as children and would like to treet them that way because of lonleyness and would also like to preserve them near another loved one that has past while the rest of us see it as a waste of money she loved her pet

I wouldn't, but I know quite a few people that would. Their pets are part of the family.
