A pair of my jeans were too long so I took them to a tailor. He fixed the length, but sewed them up at the bottom with a light blue thread that blends in with the color of my jeans. They look kinda weird now because you can't really see the indication of the bottom. What can I do to make the bottom reasonably noticable without making the jeans look worse?

Take them to the tailor and demand he redo them or have your money back!

After the tailor hemmed the hem to the correct length, he neglected to make the bottom look finished by top-stitching
near the bottom with whatever contrast color thread was used before, maybe gold or brown.

Take a look at the bottom of another pair of jeans you have
(or in the store), and see the details that make the bottom look finished, then take your hemmed jeans back to the tailor for a proper finish to the alterations he did earlier.

You could stitch over them by hand with a lighter color to match the other seams. You would need a really hard, stiff needle meant for denim (very thick fabric, could be difficult) or take them back and have them do it.

You could take sand paper to the bottom hem, to jack them up a bit and lighten them if the rest of the jeans have a distressed look.

Or you could ask your friends, see what they say and cross your fingers for honesty. Im sure they look funny to you, but see what your friends say.

Next time you go to the tailor, be sure to instruct them on what color thread to use.

buy some thread of that color already used on the jeans and sew them again, just following the machine line by the tailor,..

well u can go back to the tailor and ask him to sew the jeans again but it should be done with a brown thread like natural jeans. he should do it for u. and if he can then take it to ur dry cleaners most of them alter jeans.

Take them back to the tailor and ask him to resew the hem using the same color thread used on the rest of the item.
