I do agree, Tony. Men would never even think about askeing for directions when they are uterly lost, or condescend to look into a dictionnary for terms so simpel as "intellegent". It's just beelow manhood !

Not in a million years. It's a stereotype perpetuated by those human cultures that want yet another excuse to continue the cycle of male domination. Our intellectual abilities are perhaps (in general) directed somewhat differently, but men are not far more intelligent. Where did you see this survey? Obviously in some unscientific place directed towards a male readership. Intelligence is NOT a gender issue, and anyone claiming it is needs their own intelligence examined.

There are an awful lot of intelligent men out there, in the same respect there are also an awful lot of intelligent women too, but in my opinion how men can possibly more intelligent is a bit odd really, if that is the case then why do women constantly get the better of men by constantly nagging at them, that's not very bright of men allowing that is it and definitely not intelligent either.

The thing with these surveys is that people seem to think it matters whether men or women are more intelligent. But it means nothing.
The only thing you need to worry about is you own intelligence. Not whether 'men, in general, are intelligent'.
I know some very stupid women, I also know some very intelligent men. But the reverse is true, too.

Do not put your trust into "surveys" It all depends on whom you ask, doesn't it.
Being a male myself, it hurts, but if I look at recent figures of results in schools and universities I have to see that females, on average, are doing better than the males.
As for the old argument about art, science, etc - for millennia women were excluded from public life and education. What do you expect?

No i just think that more men had time to do the survey and had a point to prove, us girls KNOW we are more intelligent therefore we didn't need to prove it by taking part in some crap survey. Was the survey multiple choice? (ticky boxes to you men) if so more men would be able to complete it as they could just guess the answers,us girls wouldn't entertain anything that doesn't use our brain, hence the outcome that men are more intelligent!!!

Which kind of intelligence? Who did the survey? How many people were asked? What percentage was male, what female, and was there bias in who was asked, say male college students and female drug addicts (not that I think it was quite THAT biased, but you never know)?
Also: On the troll scale, you get a 3/10. Try more capslock or ASCII next time and you might score higher. ^_^

No, not really. Intelligence depends upon the individual. My IQ is higher than a lot of the guys I know. My mom was smarter than my dad and he would say that himself. Also, how do you explain the variation of boys and girls as valedictorians and salutatorians? I'd say they are usually pretty even between the sexes. I'm guessing you're just trying to anger people.

Hi!
I am a man!
It would not surprise me if that is the case because most men oppress their women.
When someone who is intelligent is oppressed, in most cases than not, her/his self-esteem comes down, and he/she ends up sounding like he/she is not intelligent...
In closing, if there is "not intelligent" woman out there, that would be because some man in his life failed to nurture her the way God intended.
Most people sound unintelligent if they are not given a chance...that is what i think happens to most women...
Men must not be bosses to their wives or daughters, they must be a model of God(God is Love) to them...
I noticed in my life, when I visited certain families that the men always oppress women emotionally because of their general physical abilities...the women thereof would end up wthdrawing from engaging into anything involving "intelligence" because of fear of critisism...but once I ask in love that they be given a chance to suggest, wow! such intelligence as never before I discovered in them....
