My son is doing a report on Jamaica and has to compare the prices of McDondald's menu with the prices of one in the US. Any usefull information would be appreciated.

The Jamaicaina dollar trades at 150 for American dollar, so if a Big Mac, fries and drink where you are is $5.00,
then it would be $750 JMD, but I worked there sometime ago, and there are very few, Jamaican people tend to stay with local food, Kingston, Montego Bay and some of the other tourist areas might have them now.

More than likely most Jamaican people when eating out will favour a Jerk Hut for Pork, Chicken or Sausage.

one thing also when you get various answers is to consider the cost of living in that area.
