There you have it the only game I think that has ended in a 4-4 tie see the date of that game. October 22, 1887 thats a long time ago and I think the scoring was different because some games had scores of 164-1 so there you have it

If you consider that soccer is considered to be "football", then I'm sure it has happened. But if you are talking about American football, then I doubt it.
