This depends on how regular you are, if you're on the pill, and how stressed you are--among other things.
If you are on a strict, X-number of days schedule, I would start worrying about 3 days late.
If you're on the pill, think about whether or not you missed any pills during your cycle. That can mess with your period. I would start worrying about 5 days late if anything weird happened with your pills.
If you're stressed, it may not come at all this month! (Same if you've had a sudden change in your diet.) However, if it gets to a week late on this one, take a test to be sure.
I know these numbers may seem arbitrary, but they are what have worked for me in the past.

If you're really worried, you could buy a home pregnancy test. I believe you need to be late 10 days for those to show a true positive. Some kits give 2 sticks so you can do one now and confirm it later in the week.
Sometimes stress will cause your period to be late a whole week.

t depends upon your regular cycle. If you are regular and are never late, then even one day may be an indication. ALso, if you have been sick, under a great deal of stress, etc. that may affect your period. You can get a pregnancy test immediately and they can detect pregancy as soon as you miss your period.

Give yourself a week or so, then get one of those responce pregnancy tests they can tell you if ure pregnant very early on. have you had sex without protection? then you more than likely could be. if ure stressed or sick your periods can be delays also i hope you are ok if you need to talk send me an email it is on my profile! best of luck hun!

periods are not precise, it is plus or minus 5-6 days
