Call your OB's answering service s/he'll call you back and tell you if you need to worry. If it's serious, s/he'll probably tell you to go to the directly L&D ward at your hospital, not the emergency room. The ER doesn't really do stuff like that (at least, when I had problems that was the case). You probably shouldn't have that much pain. How far along are you? I had pain so bad I could barely walk very early when my ligaments were stretching, but I also had an incompetent cervix at just under 5 months, and contractions at 6 months that needed to be stopped. Your doctor will know best.

I agree that you need to go to the dr asap, but you are not necessarily having a miscarriage. The same thing happened to me and all it was was round ligament pain. For some reason, it was just more severe in me than in most. In my 3rd trimester, I had it again, and that time it was a UTI (urinary tract infection).
Usually, they tell you not to worry about cramping OR bleeding, but to worry about them both occurring together. But if your pain is that severe, you should see a dr, yes. And anything is possible, so it is possible you are having a miscarriage. But even if you are not, you should see a dr in case what is wrong with you could cause a miscarriage. I.e, a UTI can cause premature labor which could cause a miscarriage.
hth and good luck!

What are you doing typing here and waiting for an answer? if you are in serious pain then get smart and go to the doctor. If your mucus is coming out of your urethra then you probably have an infection. it doesn't sound like a miscarraige. Bleeding is associated with that. Go to a doctor now before it gets worse.

Yes it appears as if you may have had a mis. Call the dr. If you passed the baby, which it appears as if you did in labor, then you do not need a medical procedure. But they can tell you if you need what they call a D&C. ALso, they can do a transvaginal ultrasound to see if the fetus is still in tact and if they hear a beartbeat.

It is possible ... you should call your doctor or get to the emergency room as soon as possible. If you still have the tissue you expelled you should bring it along with you.
