My friend hasn't had her period for nearly 4 months(She had it for the 1st time in March then only 3 days in the beginning in May). She has never done intercourse. White milky substance comes out instead of blood. She usually is moody when she's SUPPOSE to have her period but she doesn't have it. She also have cramps and her stomach usually be hurting ever more than so often(Her stomach hurted more after she haven't had her period for awhile).

Whats wrong?

It does depend on hold old she is...sometimes when you are younger your body is still trying to get use to having a period...sometimes you can have a period one month and not have another one for months...I had this same problem when I was younger...Also her body may sometime ovulate without a period...which causes pain and moodiness...just without a period...try using meds that help with cramps or even a heating pad...it should help...if she is really worried...make sure she goes to a GYN...they will be able to explain better....also getting on the pill helps to regulate a period...

Go to the doctor, but don't worry. If it was her vary first time having her priod then she will take a while to get regulated. My first period came and then it was another two months before I got it again. That is normal. The doctor can give her medicine that will help her be more regular and take away the pain. Don't worry. This isn't out of the ordinary.

nothing is wrong with her.. its totally normal. i was like that. i did have a regular period until i got on the pill when i was 18 per my doctors request. now that im off the pill my body went back to my previous ways. my doctor said my body didnt really get a chance to go through the entire puberty thing to make me normal. i am totally normal now with occasional cramps, moodyness bloating etc. so tell your friend its ok, but if she feels better to talk to someone else go talk to a nurse at the clinic. it can be a free apt if she says she just wants to discuss something with them and stay anonymous

She may have an infection, I would get her to see a Doctor ASAP. She need not be scared, Doctors deal with this kind of thing all the time, she will not be the first person that will present with this type of problem.

If you can, go with her.

Good Luck

She had it for the first time in March... like literally it was her first period? Then there's nothing wrong with her other than she's probably 13 and her body isn't regulated yet.

She is just irregular. It will take 2-3 years before her periods become regular.

I don't know what's wrong, but this is DEFINITELY something that she needs to get checked out. Anything that is this odd is almost definitely indicative of a problem. Tell her to go to the gynecologist ASAP.
