The knowledge that I have been SO wrong before and the humiliation of the times when I proclaimed to KNOW truth.

I'm open minded partially because of my upbringing. One side of my family is very closed minded to the point that they are racist and sexist and the other side of my family is very loving and accepting of everyone no matter what and so I chose to be that way instead of being judgemental and bitter twords opposite veiws.

what makes me open minded is this~~ i take each situation as it comes, not judging, but putting myself in their shoes. I believe in to each his own, or whatever floats your boat!!! I know i would not want to be judged, and their is soooo much diversity out in the world, how COULD you be closed-minded. Unless your reallay old and set in your ways. :)
