A Yahoo search for "adobe builders" (include the quotation marks in the search box) yields 521 results. If you do the same search, and are willing to spend a little time exploring, I'm sure that you will quickly find the information you seek. There are several websites on the first page of results that identify builders that specialize in adobe construction in various parts of the country.

Good luck with your search.

You still need to run the plans by a licensed architect and get them approved if you want any chance of financing or homeowners insurance. There is a possibility the electric company will refuse to hook up service without certified plans as well. You are going to be hard pressed to find a contractor to do the adobe work for you...but it is not impossible, just difficult. There are adobe contractors in NM and AZ who have crews who travel. You can find them by searching google or looking through issues of Mother Earth News. There are also schools which will teach you how to do the adobe construction yourself. You may also wish to look into strawbale construction, which when finished has the appearance of adobe, but is much faster and easier construction and requires the acquisition of much less clay. I've seen both methods and they are equally beautiful.
