How can you have a religion banned in a free society?
I am a Christian who knows many Muslim people, yes, there is the odd Muslim i know whose mission in life appears to be to cause irritation and trouble, but that is true of other groups of people too. You cannot blame all Muslims for a problem a relative few have created

do you know anything at all about the history of your country in the middle east? do you know about how britain created nations for administrative purposes, forcing people with very different cultures to live together because it made ruling them easier? do you know that these same arbitrary borders remain today, which is why there is so much ethnic strife in iraq? saddam was able to keep a lid on it, but only by being totally ruthless. do you know that your country continues to support the saudi kingdom, despite their having one of the worst humans records in the world? Do you know that british history has been, until very recently, a history of the exploitation and enslavement of other peoples? your country has a very bloody past and is directly responsible for the ethnic tensions that are currently troubling the middle east. but heaven forbid those people criticize you! how ungrateful of them to be unfriendly when you go to their shops! they should all just leave and go back to their countries that you created for them. if kurds and sunnis can't get along, its their fault for not being civilized, not the UK's fault for forcing them to live together and supporting sunni dominance.

p.s. do you know that the british were the first to use chemical weapons on the kurds?

I think I follow what you say. The problem is the Blair government have capitulated to the Muslims in this country. We would not be allowed to preach christian thoughts in the streets of Iran or Syria. We would not be able to burn effigy's of Muslim leaders. The world needs to wake up and understand what is happening. We are heading for a Muslim - Non Muslim war. This is something that must not happen. Muslims have to understand that there are other religions in the world if they want others to respect them. If they can shout death to non Muslims they must be prepared to accept non Muslims will react. Non Muslims must also accept that the Muslim Faith is of great importance to the Muslims and should be treated as such. However extremists in any culture or religion must be eradicated before we can consider peace. A ban on Muslims would hurt the good as well as the misguided within the faith.

Banning anything, whether it is alcohol, tobacco, drugs or, as you suggest, Muslims, only aggravates the problem.
We have to find a way to understand the mentality that has led a small percentage of Muslims to this moment in history. Only by understanding where they are coming from can we find some solution.
At the same time, we must be very vigilant in stopping the fanatics from killing more people. We can also vote for a successor to Blair (or Bush) who will withdtraw troops from Iraq as soon as he/she is elected.

Can I answer your question with questions? When did you last go to church? If you are someone who goes to church, have you really understood Christianity?
Probably the answer to my first question is, 'the last time there was a Wedding' and to my second question, 'no not really'.
So what makes you think that Muslims are any different?
The problem is that the more so-called Christians make anti-Muslim statements, the more moderate Muslims, and Muslims in name only, will become more alienated and more likely to get sucked into a relatively small group who are only too ready to exploit their frustration.
Lay off, it's not helping the situation.

there are various reasons. The Qur'an there's a quote asserting, women might desire to cover up thoroughly or it is their fault for tempting adult adult males to rape them. Does this then mean in the event that they do no longer positioned on it they invite adult adult males to rape them? Secondly for defense, in the united kingdom they are no longer banned yet! Hoods are banned in many indoor paying for centres, eating places, golf equipment and so on... it is via the fact they cover someone's id, you may rather stab somebody or thieve some thing, run and no you may ever know regardless of in case you have been caught on 5 cameras. It makes maximum folk experience uncomfortable, no longer because of the fact they are racist, yet because you won't be able to see who you're chatting with.

I dont understand why people cant just let people be, and live the way they want to be. Are we so insecure in our own way that we cant live our way, and let other people live their ways. why is it that so many religions are trying to force their ways and views onto other people, this goes for both the christian and muslimic ways i believe, correct me if im wrong, but arent these two religions really simular, they both believe in one god, they only call him different names, and pray to him differently, and use different ways of living by his ways, but in the end of the day, isnt it the same thing, the same holiness. how come there bee to gods up there than,? are they fighting up in heaven as well? i cannot believe this.
if we have tolerence and knowledge between the worlds different religions, that we learn about them all in school, im sure the conflict wouldnt be as bad as it has become lately.
