Your brother volunteered so he must be doing what he wanted to. An attitude like this probably comes from listening to demoncrats, who voted in favor of the military actions going on in the Middle East. Check the history out, they all voted in favor.

Sad to hear of you situation. One DOES wish him well . One should make sacrifices for the country WHEN IT ABSOLUTELY MEANS SURVIVAL, and not for crusades of greed and stupidity like Iraq. I take it you are young and will register to vote as a Democrat as soon as you legally can. Dumbya is an illegal occupant of the White House. We MUST have HONEST elections again. Down with Dictator Dumbya!!!

I am sorry that you haven't seen your brother in a long time. It must be so frustrating. Think of it this way, your brother wanted to go into the military and fight for freedom and the protection of this country. Whether we should be in Iraq is largely disputed but there is a lot of good that is going on there. A friend who is a Major in the marines has told me that the news here is so one sided that it doesn't explain that they are rebuilding towns, adding infrastructure, people can vote now. Yes, there is a civil war but it is between two religious sects that have hated eachother for thousands of years. Civil war, believe it or not, is a beneficial thing because it means that one side is out of oppression and are standing up for their freedoms.
Think good thoughts about your brother to keep him safe. He chose his path, he has to ride it out.

Because he doesn't care about your brother or anyone else over there, for that matter. All he cares about is appearances and keeping his puppet masters happy.

I'm sorry that your brother is over there and I wish him a quick and safe return.

No matter how we feel about this 'war' or our president, our troops are great people and deserve our respect.
