All the frigging time! Then I turn around walk back out remember what I was going to do walk BACK into the room and promptly forget again. I'm not 34 yet but my husband is! LOL Well he'll be glad to know that there is an excuse for him .....finally! I think it all stems from too many parties and not enough attention payed to the world around me when I was young.

Normal. Compare it to "deja vu". The reason someone feels like they have lived that moment before in time is because the short term memory farts, and skips a fraction of a second so the person relates the new memory (after the memory lapse) as something that already happened. I know that deja vu is not part of the question but just shedding some light on how the conscious and subconscious mind work and sometimes conflict...Also, maybe just too pre-occupied with other things...at 34, we know how we can get so worked up mentally with everything going on in our life... instead of our young 20's when all we worried about was what we were going to eat and were we where going to hang out.

I am 34 as well and I do the exact same thing all the time. I didn't party much when I was younger so you can rule that part out. I think it's that we just have so much going on in our lives that were constantly thinking and that causes us to forget. Anyway that's my story and I'm sticking to it. LOL

"All the time man, it's called mescaline. It's the only way to fly. Look to me like you need to unplug man." I'm 30 by the way, and that was from the Matrix if you haven't seen it. I do it all the time, did a little partying all the time when I was younger. I also have two toddlers, a 2 and a 3 year old.

All the time! I also constantly get up to look in the refridgerator just to see if anything has changed!=) I just turned 35 so I guess it is a natural progression but I don't want to see what I am like at 65!

yes, I have on numerous occasions and then I would have to stop and try to remember why or what I wanted. I think a little of both, old age and one to many parties when younger

I do that so much it drives me nuts. Or forget where you parked your car? I spend 20 mins. shopping and 45 mins finding my car again. or forgetting what something is called. I asked my daughter the other day to hand me the motorcycle. She went right over and picked up the ashtray and gave it to me. I have no idea where motorcycle came from. gets a little unnerving sometimes. I don't know what causes it either

It's a normal part of life and it happens to me all the time. It has nothing to do with aging.

I do that all the time. I even stand up, then pause, then sit back down cuz I completely forgot what I was about to do. And I'm sure its from chain smoking weed.
