5-69 = -64, the 1 can simply be ignored. -64 x 45 i cant write out the work however you would simply get -2880.

Remember Order of Operations: PEMDAS
1(5 - 69) x 45
1( -64) x 45
1(-64) = -64
-64 x 45 = -2880

Remember odd number of negative signs, is a negative, even number of negative signs is a positive!

=[(1*5)+(1*-69)] * 45

=(5-69) *45

=-64*45

= -2880
