The media hypes up certain players. Notre Dame hasnt been good in a while so that is why he is getting so much attention. Adrian Peterson is the best running back in the country. You just have to watch him play and you can see why. He is a rare combination of speed and strength. For example the Texas and Oklahoma game when he was a freshman. He gained 1900 yards as a freshman and around 1200 last year when he was injured most of the time. So this year he is healthy and look for him to get 1800 plus yards and he should win the Heisman.

Brady Quinn is a better player for the Heisman. Owning most of the passing records at Notre Dame is an accomplishment for anyone and thats why he is getting the hype. Take that with the fact that he took the team from mediocrity to respectability with a completly different offensive scheme in one season you have an eye opener. Quinn if he puts up the numbers he did last year(already ahead of the pace of last year) he should win the heisman.

To my non-expert eyes he looked pretty good last weekend against Penn State. Something like 3 touchdown passes, no interceptions and a 41-3 lead at one point. He's big and tall, he can throw and he's hard to bring down. Someone will go high for him in the draft regardless of the Heisman voting. See where he stands in the NFL maybe 3-4 years from now. I never thought very highly of Joe Montana when he was at ND either.

I agree with you. I think Brady Quinn is over-rated, but I especially think that his whole team is over-rated. Adrian Peterson is deffinately a better Heisman prospect. Go Big 12!!!!

Because he plays for the Farting Amish and the media traipse down to South Bend (a hell hole akin to nearby Gary, IN) to perform fellatio every chance they get.

Because he's the only QB that ND has had in the last 10 years that can throw anything. His completes his passes. He's not afraid to roll out of the pocket and get hit if he has to. He's not afraid to run the ball, himself. He reminds me of Jim McMahon actually.

GO IRISH!!!

I am a Michigan fan and I hope that he F***s up today but he is good.He has a great arm and also great wideouts which also make him look good. And he has great vision and lately he has improved his mobility. But damn I hate him when he plays Michigan,he's going down today.
