Hi, I would have to say YES ! I stayed at home with both my boys until they went to school full time and it was the best thing I could have done for them ! They are both well adjusted, happy, polite kids , have no separation issues and can deal with almost anything that comes their way . During those first " important" years, the influence of the adult in charge plays a huge part in how they turn out ! People may disagree with me on this, but I can only speak from experience . I was able to teach them everything, right from wrong, manners, and their ABC'S of course . Now, they are 7 and 9 and I have gone back to work , but I'm still there for them when they come out of school ( apart from two days a week when I do a whole day at work ) and then they are with a close friend . I was happier because I was looking after them, a baby can't tell you whether they are being looked after properly or not, I would have been so worried if I had left them with a child minder that I wouldn't have been any good to anyone at work anyway, lol ! If you can afford to stay at home, then please do so, it is so rewarding . Some women are not happy at home though, and that must be taken into account too, the women that go back to work must not be judged, we all do what we feel is best for our family :)
