Based on my reading it is safe to take as a daily supplement. Actually I am taking it now and I alredy asked my doctor about the side effects of this supplement. But of course, it is still best choice to take natural foods to have a healthy baby. You can search through the internet and you will find your answer.

In the later months of pregnancy, Zantac is believed to be safe. It's just in the first trimester that some doctors don't recommend it (at least, the info from my doc said not in the 1st trimester). I hope these links I'm posting will help answer your question and ease your mind. Best of luck!

You should ask your doctor. Your prenatal vitamins should give you enough...Two weeks a go I saw my nutritionist and I told her I was drinking Ensure and she asked me why?...She said that those drinks are high in sugar and that I really didn't need to drink it if I was eating right and taking my prenatal vitamins.

I DON'T THINK ANYTHING IS GUARANTEED SAFE WHEN YOU ARE PREGNANT...UNLESS YOUR OB/GYN APPROVES IT. DON'T RISK THE BABY'S HEALTH... ASK
