Not always.Usually a test will pick up the hormone, however, there are certain factors that can cause the HCG levels to be too low for a home test to pick them up.
If you suspect a tubal pregnancy, you need to get to the Dr. ASAP! It can rupture and cause severe internal bleeding and even death if left untreated.
Some symptoms of tubal pregnacy include missed periods, severe pain in one side, light spotting, and cramping.

That I don't know, it should. The pregnancy tests pick up pregnancy hormones. That's how they determine whether or not you are pregnant. IS there a particular reason why you think you are having a tubal pregnancy?...Honey I always say go to the doctor, do not try and diagnose yourself.

Yes, the test detects the level of hcg in your blood system it has nothing to do with were the pregnancy is Good Luck!

yes, and i would think that you would know if it were an ectopic pregnancy, i certainly did, as it is very painful. if you suspect that you may have this type of pregnancy please get to an immediate care facility asap. good luck!!
