If you beat your wife, then you are less of a men, if you have a problem about how you son is brought up, what is wrong with talking to her, and discussing the problem. and trying to come to solution. stop beating her, before you get locked up, and your wife will be left to raise him on her own, you may need counseling.

No it is not normal. Were you beat whrn you were a child? If you were, you may just be following the pattern you were taught and if your dad beat your mom then there is a pattern there.
You need to get some help and stay away from your family until you do.

No it is not. You beat your wife because of the insecurity in your life, and if you don't get help, your son will grow up and repeat this behavior. If you are serious and want to stop, please, please, get help.
