Do you truly think she is ugly? Can you not see past the shell? Are you a stud?
If you are truly truly bothered by her looks, take her for a makeover, Get her a nice hair cut, buy some new clothes (not a Jilbab) and take her to a beauty salon to have her make up done and a faciel.
Maybe if you make more of an effort, she will!

I wouldnt tell her you think shes ugly that would crush her..you could make suggestions on how she could wear her hair or maybe what she should wear..might make a world of difference in her appearance to you.
