Possibly. Did you buy a new motor scooter, and has it been back in more than 3 times for the same covered repair? In most states you have to give the dealer at least 3 chances to solve the problem, and it must be the same problem before the lemon law applies.

Check the law for your state or country.

(11) "Motor vehicle" or "vehicle" means any self-propelled vehicle licensed, purchased, or leased in this state and primarily designed for the transportation of persons or property over the public streets and highways, but does not include mopeds, motorcycles, the living facilities of a motor home, or vehicles over ten thousand pounds (10,000 lbs.) gross vehicle weight rating. Hi,
In the UK, forget about it. It is largely irrelavant.
I've drove a sit-on lawn-mower thing around to the local supermarket for a bit of fun, and no illegal harm done.
As for "pop-pop" scooters, well, someone might have a word or two about paperwork etc But generally, if all is in order, again not much of a problem.
So best of luck, but remain sensible about it all.

I believe it mainly applies to vehicles, but technically, I don't see why it wouldn't apply to anything with a motor/engine used for transportation.
