Don't doubt it. There was already talk about "suspending" elections if we were attacked again. We really need to get some power away from Bush and co. and this fall's election may just be our last chance.

With our freedoms and rights either being curbed or restricted, then I regretfully have to say yes. We're living in the post-9/11 world, and Bush wants to capitalize on it by creating a martial law police-state. He'll do nothing but take away our freedoms, the very things our forefathers have created during the height of the American Revolution. Before long, that will be taken away from us. Our rights of speech will be stifled, as well as freedom of movement, etc. You know the rest of the stinking story! As for our elections, this one coming up will beTHE ABSOLUTE LAST ONE before the Bush martial law program gets underway. So get ready to enjoy it while you have the chance!
