Well, the match has been abandoned due to rain.
Australia was bowled-out for 244 in 49.2 overs. Shane watson top-scored with 79 off 73 balls (with 4x10 6x2). Australia were looking good for the total of 300-plus, but Harbhajan, Munaf Patel and Sehwag bowled well to restrct the Australians. Munaf got 3 wkts for 53 in 10 overs. And Harbhajan got 2 wkts for 26 runs in 10 overs. Sehwag didn´t get any wkt, but he also helped the other bowlers to restrict them, his figures were: 43 in 10 overs. Pathan was bit dissappointing, again, but he got the real danger-man "Ricky Ponting". His final figures were: 1 for 32 in 4 overs.
And then: India was on 16 in 5 overs when rain started to come down, again, second time in the match. Then the target was reduced and then, India had to chase 170 from 29 overs. Means: India needed to chase 155 from 24 overs. India started very poorly and they were 2 down in 1st over, after the interval.
And then at one stage India were on 35 for 5 in 8 overs and all their big-guns were sent back to the dressing-room.
And then rain started to shower again, and then the umpires decided that "the playing time is over and the match is abandoned". The cause for India´s collapse was: Mitchell Johnson. Who I thought bowled really really well. He got all the wkts, except Sehwag, who was run-out. His final figures were: 4 wkts for 11 in 4 overs.
But, despite all that drama, match stayed undecided. And both teams now shared 2 points. And Australia has 7 points and West-Indies on second with 5 and India is at third with 2 points, they got from this match.
Now: India will be looking desprately to win the next match against West-Indies, to stay alive in the contest.
