[3] At current rates, Islam will soon become the second largest religion in the United States, [4] and it is already the second largest faith in the UK [5].
Secular historians place Islam's beginnings during the late 7th century in Arabia. Under the leadership of Muhammad and his successors, Islam rapidly spread by religious conversion and military conquest.[6] Today, followers of Islam may be found throughout the world, particularly in the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia and Southeast Asia.

Islam is a religion most closely followed by those in the Middle East. There are five pillars of Islam. Islamic people believe in a god named Allah and a prophet Muhammad, which is why many Islamic people make the pilgrimage to Mecca. Their equivalent to the bible is the Koran.

Islam means peace... there r not a terrorism actually the are defending their religion, country, honour and family against the attack of AS and Israel army... I gave u guarantee if u all stop attacking Islam they will also stop attacking/defending back...then there will be a safer planet to live on...

the meaning of Islam in Arabic language is submission. it means it is submission to the god(Allah). it is a religion that teaches us the way the life should be. the god asks Muslim to follow the true path. lastly, i hope u understand the description.

good question. its not at all what you see in TV . its like any other religion but more complete. all religions are the same if they are obeyed in the right way. the point is to get to know god better.
