I would really appreciate it if filipinoes answer this one... but people from other states are gladly and most appreciatively welcomed.
If possible please site in the reasons why you prefer Hollywodd movies more than your local films. As well as the difference between them... thank you :)

Hollywood films are provided more money, getting them better actors, special effects crews, and so on.
I prefer watching hollywood movies because I don't like the look of cheesy special effects. Also, gotta say while hollywood movies may not have any underlying moral like some indie films do, they are great for mindless entertainment, which is good if you want to forget it all for awhile...
And yeah, great explosions.

Money! There are many talented people making films,but without the big
expensive product and advertising they just don't get seen by large audiences.
